at night、in the night、on the night of的区别为意思不同、用法不同、侧重点不同，意思和用法如下：
一、意思不同
1.at night意思：在晚间晚间;晚上
2.in the night意思：在夜里;在夜间
3.on the night of意思：在夜晚
二、用法不同
1.at night用法：表时间时，指在时间上的某一时刻。指从日落到日出这段时间，还可指从夜间睡下到次日起床这段时间。
2.in the night用法：表时间时，指一段时间或与年、月、季节时间连用。night是抽象名词，故其前通常不加the，但特指时则要加the。
3.on the night of用法：表时间时，指在某一天或某一天的某个时间，尤指在星期几。特指某天夜里，尤指上半夜。
三、侧重点不同
1.at night侧重点：at night指晚上但不一定天黑，多指晚上6点以后。
2.in the night侧重点：in the night指深夜，有描述一次性时间的倾向。
3.on the night of侧重点：on the night of也是指特定的晚上，后面加宾语。
night前面用at还是in
night前面用at或in。
at night：在晚间、在夜里、晚间、晚上。in the night：在晚上、在夜里、在夜晚、在夜间。
evening和morning前面通常用in，这两个词前面通常用the；例如：in the morning ，in the evening。如果这几个词有其他定语一般不加介词。
